facilities at Selborne Mews
Everyone living at Selborne Mews will be provided with opportunities to develop personally and experience different lifestyle choices. We will support all Service Users to exercise choice in making both major life and day-to-day decisions.
Meaningful activity is a key element in a fulfilled life; Service User’s will be encouraged and supported to participate in a variety of activities both within the home and in the wider community. These typically include further education, work and college placements, social skills development, swimming, nature preservation, local history and horticulture etc
The accommodation is spacious and can be tailored to suit the individual need of the Service User. There is a great degree of emphasis placed on the concept of supported living. The units are sub-divided into one and two bedroom domestic style apartments for more independent living.

Every effort has been made in the building design to ensure that the individual bedrooms are comfortable and safe. The bedroom design also includes a call-point system and telephones.
Service Users are of course able to bring with them personal belongings to individualise their room as long as such items do not pose a health and safety risk to themselves, staff, fellow Service Users and visitors. All personal possessions brought into Selborne Mews must comply with Health and Safety and Fire Regulations and will be checked on admission by the staff.
