about Selborne Care

Selborne Care is an innovative organisation specialising in the
support and care of adults with learning disabilities who
may have mental health needs and may exhibit complex
behaviours. Our aim is to work in partnership with the public
sector to provide highly specialised and individual packages
of care based on individual assessments and care plans to
enhance the lives and independence of our service users.
The approach to care delivery is delivered by a skilled,
dedicated nursing and support staff, with day activity
staff working closely with the multi disciplinary team and all
key professionals involved in the service users care plan.

Established in August 2005 Selbourne Care Limited provides a care home with residential and nursing services at Selborne House, Handsworth Wood, Birmingham consisting of 2 units for 15 people. In addition, we provide a care home with residential and nursing services within 15 independent flats for 20 people at Selborne Mews in Smethwick, Birmingham.

To complement these residential based services, in March 2006, Selborne Care Limited acquired an established support living service in Devon. A service which is the leader in Supporting People delivery and provides support for some 100 people to live independently in their own homes.
